Letter to Nobody- Part 2

And it read. " Dear nobody, I'm leaving. I've placed all my heart into your hands, and you left with it. I'm faithless, hopeless and desperate, yet not sure if i want you back. Goodbye. " and an illegible signature which vaguely resembles Sarah ends it.

All John thought at that moment was that the underside of a coffee table was a ridiculous place to write an emotional declaration. But, as he read on, something clicked in his head. It was an inspiration. Something long stolen by work and the hectic pace of life, that doesn't even give his brain anytime to breathe, let alone think. Suddenly, words started coming to his mind, together with rhythm and melodies. With only time in his hand, he could put his creative juices to good use and start composing again.

And he rushed upstairs to unpack his really old guitar, that was already covered with an even layer of dust. That's what the real world does to you, he thought. After tuning his guitar for a couple of minutes, he started to strum a G chord. Ahh. How wonderful the sound of music is to the ears. It was amazing how moving air molecules could produce such melodious intepretations in the mind. He started fiddling with some of the words mentally, conjuring a few lines for a song he would call " faithless"

Salmon, signing out.
