The year's closing. What happens next?

Oh man. Its been like 2 weeks since i last posted. Didnt really have anything to post about. Christmas was just a really really busy yet entertaining and fun period. Well spent with my friends.

That reminds me, I've gotta put my new years resolution down. yes.. not like i will follow them, coz it never happens. hmm.

Number 1: Do not have a crush on older girls. this may sound like the most ridiculous thing to say, but hahaha, it sucks to like an older girl. trust me on this.

Girl:january. ( or any months between that and april since its just an illustration. )

Number 2: Exercise! i dun wanna look like a stick anymore. Gotta be fitter and meatier! roar.

Number 3: study. haha. havent been doing much of that this year.

Number 4: read the bible lots more. yea. i should and i know it.

Number 5: cant think of anymore thats not personal. of course i've got more, but dun wanna say them here.

Oh, and Happy new year everybody. i've gotta go and prepare for worship later. ah... procrastination kills.

Turkey: stupid or not as stupid

Not that i wanna bust down the evolution theory that badly, but i just thought of a really good counter example for it. Well, to put the facts down right, evolution theory says it seeks to eliminate the weaker individuals through survival of the fittest. that's as best as i can summarize.

But, i can tell you that God definitely created turkeys. Wait! if you think that turkeys are so stupid that they drown themselves in the rain, that's not true. just to clarify somethings.


The notion that a "dumb" animal would be fascinated by something as mundane as rain is another anthropomorphization. The concept of "fascination" requires a level of intelligence that even the smartest turkeys do not possess. Animals of this order react to a phenomenon such as rain in one of two very simple ways: If they don't mind it, they ignore it (as ducks do); if they don't like it, they seek shelter from it. So, why doesnt nature eliminate these fat birds? Haha. I deduce that God created turkeys to feed us humans you see. Ah. Turkeys are so fat and meaty, they cant even fly. That's the extend of my theory.

A big hey to all

Sorry for the inactiveness of my blog. Having one is such a burden, its almost like having a wife. :D ( kidding) Everytime i think of it, i'll be like, sian, must update. So, today i've decided to at least update abit before going overseas for a week. mmhmm.

This week was a really different week i could say. I've learnt so much in a matter of 3 days. God choreographed every single event from losing my phone at Sentosa, to him telling me wad to do with my life a few hours ago, it all seems so weirdly convincing that things can really seem so arranged when they were never thought to be. New time, New focus, New direction.

Even today, it wasnt coincedence that pamella asked me to stay for evening service with her, it was God. So that i could be prayed over, and he spoke so clearly to my heart. :D yay. so many things happened this few days that left me really irritated. K. shall upload some random photos i took with my phone. i didnt really know how it works, so the quality is quite bad..

Apparently, this video is so retarded that my good friend said that when it was showing at edge, haha. she was half watching and half not wanting to watch, coz i was so retarded and she have never seen me that way before. oh well. Why live life so dull, must do something crazy once in a while, so that at least when we grow old, we can look back and say. " hohoho. Grandchild. This was me 50 years ago. " :D

Scam of the Month

So wad happens when you have 6 guys who have nothing better to do after meeting for dinner? Its like 7.30 pm. Hmm, so we decided to pull the ultimate scam on the Kang sisters. Heeheehee. So, we discussed our strategies as we walked to their house.

Scam A:
2 guys a team move to different parts of their house. ( landed property, that's why can run around. ) then all simultaneously knock on the doors, windows, etc. and scare the heck out of them.
Limitations of Scam A:
what if the maid gets scared and calls the police? haha. or their parents come out and scold us. hohoho.

by the time we scrapped Scam A, we were already at their doorstep. So, we sat in front of their door and discussed on Plan B: EMO KID.

Time of Scam: Approx 7.45p.m 21/11/07
Objective of Scam: to scare the heck out of zhini
Procedure:

1) waihong calls zhini on the phone. " hey. was just passing by your house. could i come in and sit down? i need to talk to you about something." (emo tone.)
2) Infiltrate the vicinity. Move to 2nd level. Zhini: " so you wanna talk upstairs or downstairs? , i think my room better. "
3) Gain the confidence of the victim. Me: " i very troubled. sigh. " Zhini: " so wad you wanna talk about? " etc.
4) Let the rest of the squad into the building. " Er, i need to use the toilet. " Zhini: " you wanna use which one? " Me" downstairs one. "
5) secret meeting in toilet to be briefed on final step of action plan. ( which also means there were 6 guys in the toilet. dying of heat. )
6) Goes back to victim and continues being emo.
7) rest of squad comes into room and says:" eh, waihong, ok not? heard you were troubled." lol, Zhini freaks out and screams.
8) Mission accomplished. Goes to living room watch disney channel.

Then, we pulled another scam on Simon Tan who was coming to their house too. But, he wasnt scared coz he's a guy. Guys arent fun to prank.

Finally. doing some posting.

This week is coming to a close. God has been good and i thank him for that.

Thursday. Served as waiter for a banquet with me friends. yay. it was quite fun. we just stood at one corner and talk, when it was time to serve the dishes, then we will go collect it and serve lor. haha. the only thing is that we had to stand for 3 hours. quite tiring. Then after the banquet was over, had to tear down pls. haha. the projector screens and all the frames everything in my nice nice attire. aiyo. sweat like a pig only. overall, yesterday was rewarding in a sense. Although i only left the church at 12am, it was nice that we were part of the crew for the 30th anniversary of our church. haha.

Reflections of the past week.

Its Sunday, the last day of the week. and i'm so bored now, i've got plenty of time to reflect on the week.

1) class chalets=sleepless nights.

Had my class chalet on monday and tuesday. it was pretty cool, coz the whole class was actually together. Usually in school, the girls would sit like a few tables away from us. haha. Talked to Jun ru for the 2nd time in my life. and the conversation went like

me: so you came from school?
Jr: ya. got cca so sian. (edited.)
me: which cca?
Jr; Piano ensemble
me: oh.. (walks away)
There are however 4 girls in my class who are closer to the guys. and coincidentally, they all spew vulgarities like running water. Might be from the influence of K.p. shant say anymore lest i gana whack by the 2 rockclimbing girls again. pissed one of them off 1 week ago, and the other this week.

so, we played and played until like Adrian asked for the time. and oh my word, it was 5.30am. haha. went to sleep at 6 with nugraha on the next bed. when i woke up 4 hours later, my neighbour was somebody else.

2) Guitar practice

It aint so bad la. shouldnt be complaining since we only have practices 4 times this whole holidays. so, my section is like the hippest section in the world, coz its like 90% guys. yay. so, we just hang out at some corner and chill with our guitars, like mats at void deck. only we more classy.

3)Net reshuffling

my net, or cellgroup( as called by other churches) have been rearranged. Been put up for a net leader role to colead with audrey lee. The immediate thought of the annoucement was voiced out by me to audrey. " WHERE ARE WE GOING TO HAVE NET NOW? " hahaha. of cuz my house is out of the question, and so is jerms and bk. so we're only left with audrey's house or the two new girls house. anyway, that is secondary. Hopefully, our net will grow and be really bonded. :D

4) next week.:D

Every day brings new joy. So does every week. there's always something to look forward to. yay. ( a levels next year is a nono though.) List of events next week.

YAY! my life's quite exciting now. however, i will be possibly be struggling with finances though. gonna save and cut down. no can drinks and wadsoever, i'm bringing my bottle everywhere.

Holidaze.

HOLIDAYS ARE HERE. so wad? here are some reasons to dread holidays.

1) money.

No money. no money. to do anything. i spend so much money during the holidays, i scare myself. :(:(:(:( so today, i cooped myself at home and did not go out at all because i dun have any money left.

2) Too much time.

Singaporeans. we dun know wad to do with so much time. we practically fill ourselves with work all day. then, suddenly. eh, so much time. do wad? so we sleep, or play computer.

3) the dreadful shopping.

Shopping's ok. but its the stamina thing. Yesterday went out with the guitar peeps. so, we two guys tagged around with 5 girls to do some window shopping at Novena. Can die pls. Ian kept asking to find somewhere to sit down. and my knees were in pain. lol. guys can't shop. period.

Ah heck, actually holidays quite good after all. you just need to find money and spend it. --> No money, no life.

Another realm.

Wah lao. I took a nap at 5pm yesterday. my body clock has never failed me until today man. I woke up at 3pm then i was like " did i just sleep through the night?, oh my. i did. " woke up and checked my phone. 6 missed calls and 2 messages. not too bad, only i was supposed to collect my Nintendo Wii back from darren. that explains the 6 calls.

Have you ever wondered wad kind of nocturnal creatures runs around when all the humans sleep? i was in the toilet and i took some tissue paper and poof. out came a lizard and ran around frantically. then i went downstairs in search for some food. ( i skipped dinner. super hungry. ) And i stepped on something. couldnt quite tell wad it was, it was just a black siloeutte. turned on the lights and guess wad i saw? taddaaa. a cockroach. but it wasnt moving. so was it dead before or after i stepped it? i dunno. just left it there and went away.

Kinda fun experience running around the house at 3.30 in the morning. next time i'll remind my family to wake me up. i dun wanna miss dinner again. all i found in the end was a nougat the size of a ... i dunno wad size la. just small.

Hurry Sickness.

Last thursday, i was at a music camp organized by my church, and the preacher was like saying how he as an american was fascinated by this one thing we Singaporeans do. He said something like " you guys are the only people who actually press the door close button on the lift door before the lift door closes." and everyone laughed. ( guilty as charged. )

We have what you call the hurry sickness. IF you havent notice, we are a hurry society.

First, we got one of the speediest education systems in the world. Just look at A levels man. We finish a 4 year syllabus in 2 years. haha. maybe its because we make up for all that time with having only 5-6 hours of sleep a day on average.

Secondly, you got crazy uncles and aunties on the bus, who would shove themselves out of the bus. " AIYOOHA. BOY! SIAM SIAM! LATER THE DOOR CLOSE THEN SIAO LIAO AH! " ( follows on to chuck poor boy away with a walking stick ) If singapore is supposed to be an elegant society, they have to first put these old people through some mass social etiquette class.



The last one is my personal one. Dunno if anyone does that yet. Last week, i found Iris. Not girl la. Its some fatabulous service to tell you when the next bus will come. HOHOHO. So, today, i was at home getting ready to go to school. i smsed the number to find out when my next bus will come. " next bus: 5 minutes, Subsequent bus: 22 minutes " WAH!! 22 minutes, CHIONG AH CHIONG AH! i speed changed into my pe. packed my laptop, wear my socks and shoes and chiong out. haha. then went i reach the ground floor i smsed again. " next bus: arriving. " wah sian. rush for nothing. in the end take MRT. see i save a total of 17 minutes waiting time. and wad did i do with it? i went to the guitar room to slack. Kinda defeated the purpose of saving time when i ended up wasting it. OH WELL. I kiasu mah. every minute counts. :D

Aces Day.

Everyone remembers aces day. that stupid day in primary school when everyone wears a funny cap and do some lame exercise in the hall.
But have you thought of what the word aces stand for? well, i havent and didnt know wad in the world it means. Until today, i was enlightened by some s42 dude. Aces day---> All Children Exercising Simultaneously Day.
What the. lol. Seriously. Oh, i went to do some research, and found out that its not some propaganda thing by the government to make fat and chubby little kids to move. Its by some angmoh called len saunders. He's a PE teacher, who wants people to know that PE teachers actually do something. ( unbelievable. ) and that PE is important. So he sent letters to all the angmoh schools to exercise simultaneously. In summary, PE teacher (bored and unrecognized) ---> Aces Day.

Misconceptions about Dota. ( by girls )

Dota. The thing that keeps us guys sitting in front of the computer for hours. You (girls) may be thinking, Wads wrong with you guys? well, actually nothing is wrong. and here's my argument and opinions.

Common Misconceptions about Dota.

1) Dota is a waste of time.

k, actually i cant really counter this argument becoz its kinda true, but i can tell you how its ok for us to waste our time dotaing. :D You see, you girls have wad you call drama serials and whatnots to keep you peeps occupied. So, for the same reason, guys play dota. therefore, we can simply say that drama serials=dota, so for every reason you girls watch dramas, we play dota.

2) Dota is more important than anything else.

Well, this is so not true. Everything else is important, but when we're playing dota, dota is everything. and thus, other things are not important. :D but that's only true when we're actually playing dota. So, dun call us on the phone when we play dota, coz you'll be talking to a block of wood.
An example of a typical conversation on the phone while playing dota would be

Girl: you know ah. blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah
Me: mm.. ya.
Girl: then hor. blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah
Me: i see. Eh, wait ah. i dying, gimme a minute. ( kiaps phone between legs and ears and use both hands to meddle with the computer. ) k, can already. wad were you saying?

So, if you dun wanna go through an emotional trauma of feeling neglected and all. PLS! when a guy says i'm playing dota, just say " i'll call you back later " or " I understand. byebye. " dun try to strike a conversation, coz you'll be really disappointed.

3) Dota is stupid, what's up with just going around and killing stuff.

Dota is a mind game. its like playing chess, or doing a maths question. See. Its a whole new perspective altogether. Its always kinda hard to explain to a girl wad dota is about especially when it starts like this.

I've just reached home from hsuante's house. I walked up to my bedroom, turned on the computer and i saw my sister's MSN on. Went to peeked at it and guess wad i saw. my sister's personal message was " Waihong's blog is so childish. " what the heck, i changed it without hesistation. and it read something like this " My blog is so lame. Go read it. :D " and i laughed all the way down, confused look on my family's faces. owned. especially my sister. i bet she's counterattacking me now and telling all her girlfriends about it. oh well, it sucks to have an immature little sister who has nothing better to do in her life other than gossiping on the phone and backstabbing her brother.

Decided to change my address again. Hsuante said that its too suggestive and disturbing to have both salmon and stream in the same phrase. so, i thought wad the heck, the salmon should be cooked and not alive to be useful. So instead of salmon in the sea, or salmon up the stream, i thought it'll be better for the salmon to be dead. so i got www.cheesybakedsalmon.blogspot.com, haha. drool.

oh, hsuante also said i shouldnt flame that retard who flamed my tagboard. i should just delete his posts. oh well. guess that'll save me more time. This is the 4th post in a day. i hope i can get the linguistic part of my mind more active, more frequently.

Yo sup peeps. havent been doing much blogging becoz of two reasons.

1) Lazy. why write essays when you can just play dota or WOW.
2) My father reads my blog.

Yes. you did not read that wrongly. my father reads my blog. apparently, i havent been secretive enough to log out or clear history and cookies after blogging.

After a long day at work, dad returns home to ask son.

Dad: i realised you like quite depressed recently, do you have any problems?

Now i noe why he's been asking strange questions lately. heck no. i dun want anybody in my family to read my blog. i know i should honour my parents and all, but i dun want them to be knowing exactly wad i am doing or thinking or blogging or anything else that they could use to humiliate me at home. Although my mum made an argument that my blog is for everyone to see, why cant they see it? good point, but no thanks.

Of Exco, Footstools and Peedabbaeuuuw.

Today was a typical exciting day in the exciting life of a jc student after promos. It started out kinda stupid. Arrived at school at like 7.30. Met up with my classmaties and sat on the stairs of the concourse and blocked people from walking as we stoned there. haha.

Then, imagine this. Doing chinese test at 8am in the morning. Oh my.. my brain was not even working la. do one question, then stone for a minute, then do again. zzz. In the middle of the test, Matthew Ho came in to borrow table. lol, it was the ultimate master of funny. he said like " oh shit, my chinese teacher caught me for ponning 1 week of chinese. die. " then, he continued to say like " Chinese is useless". Then, my chinese teacher scolded him upside down, she turned all red and asked him to get out. hahahah. wad a joker.

After chinese, went down to canteen to wait for my PW meeting with my ST. Suddenly one of my groupmates started talking really agitatedly on the phone in chinese. Then he put down the phone and shouted my name. " WAI HONG! " and started saying some stuff. i just shrugged and pointed to hsuan te becoz it was his fault not mine. Then, he stormed off angrily. Weird.. First conflict in the whole PW process man. Shocking.

Went to confess to my teacher in charge about the missing footstools. Was so mentally prepared to get skewered and die in flames. but, surprisingly, she wasnt angry at all. She just told me to go down to the shop to buy some new ones. phew. 190 burned from the guitar fund. oh well.

Then, went to meet jenny ongs at ice cream chef in the afternoon coz she had no money. and needed me to go down to supply her icecream. Ian was supposed to be there too, but he didnt go in the end becoz it was raining.. zz. Then, we went down to Ian's house to slack and watch TV. until bout 6. And went to eat really really nice food in Siglap with the com. YAY. i think our exco is pretty cool. Ian says he's gonna invite us to his house for dinner one day. and we can watch movies together as a com yay. Anyway, I blew about 20 bucks today. roar. Fun comes with a price. Good nice food and loads of icecream too.

Not going to school for chinese tomorrow.

Yay. Forced myself to write another entry. summarize for the last few days la.

Saturday: open house. screwed up my conducting. Shi Kang told me i almost fell off the stage. Thank God i didnt coz that'll just be painful and humiliating. had enough humiliation from the guitar photo to last me a lifetime already. Roar, then i pang sehed Ian(left him to stockcheck and wadever stuff) and ran off with his bro to yishun asap. Had no time to change, so i went for worship prac in my uniform. Elvin was like " i trying to guess the colour of your uniform, so i can guess which school you're from. " then, someone like said vj. Then he replied " oh, no wonder you got the 'i am better than you' look." aha. then, he like said to Joel " you got the 'i am lousier than you' look." ahahaa. Oh, then after edge, went over to Shaun's house for his birthday barbeque cum watching soccer party. He told me to take 854 and alight after i see a flyover to CTE, so i did that, and i was like in the middle of nowhere. ah. so had to wait for another bus.. Hsuan Te got drunk after eating a really small slice of the chocolate alchohol cake. And was like laughing like for totally no reason. seriously. insane fellow. hope he doesnt see this.

Sunday: went to church. came home. slept. played comp. eat dinner. then, slept.

Today: Got back 5/6 of the promo papers. k, i did rather well considering the amount of effort i put in for the exams. A for chem, C for physics and maths, E for GP, B for chinese. Dun wanna know my econs grade coz its going to be ugly. Played squash and tennis for 1 and a half hours today. never sweat so much during PE before. Tried to do my op slides, gave up after the first slide. was too boring. Ahh, i'm so tired. better go sleep. good night people.

Clean Room.

Went down to school at 11plus to clean the guitar room. What a revamp. It looks so much nicer now. especially after much sweeping and mopping. The cupboards are neat and stuff. Yea. Saw a couple of lizards, flies, and spiders while cleaning. and my feet were black and icky. But its now dry and smooth and nice to touch. wahahaha, can eat off the floor. :D

No laptop, cant play dota. siant. mother confiscated from me coz i woke up at 4 today to play. :( i dun see why not. i slept at 10 the day before wad.. sigh.

Its been a long time since i've blogged. and i just wanna thank God for everything. How he's changed my life, gave me good friends especially from my net. How he has been faithful in answering my prayers even though i havent been faithful. Thank you God.

Today was an eventful day. Went to church in the morning, played drums with a swollen wrist and a blistered finger. Its those kinda times when you play too much in 2 days, that you injure yourself. but at least i enjoyed it. i'm so sure i am going to wake up tomorrow with a super bodyache. And i still got chinese exams tomorrow. OH no.

And went to Ian Wu's grandfather's wake. So at my table were Pamella and Audrey, their mom and bro. and the twins. It was kinda funny coz we were talking about random stuff in front of their mom. We were like bitching about people in front of her can? i feel so bad now. Somemore, their mom had to like tell me why this and that happens, and i was like ok.ok. And Ian and tim were like disposing their leftovers to us. Bringing cake and stuff over. We were joking that it was a 10 course meal or something and they were the waiters.

I realised that even though i have taken my url off my msn nick, there are still a lot of people reading my blog. : ( and they would ask me about my emo emo stuff. so, i just wanna change it back into a happy blog again! : )

Today has been a normal day. Cant wait for tomorrow. gonna study from 9 to 6 with tim and jerms. hehe.

let me post on my blog wad i aim to achieve tomorrow. i wanna finish at least 3/4 of the maths syllabus for promos. and i'll be really happy.

Humiliation

Today was probably the weirdest day in my life. First, i get "suaned" by BK throughout the whole econs lecture. Then, the whole S64 and half of S42 were viewing my guitar photo which was super embarassing and humiliating. I flipped the photo around, but they still managed to each take a photo of it on their phone and swore they were going to put it as their dp on msn.. This is so crappy. Jermyn, totally destroyed me in the canteen in front of my classmates by mimicking my pose on the the photo. arghh..

Woohoo.. then i led praise and worship for net. spent quite long deciding on the songs, then felt led to play the song i wrote. It was good though, i also explained what the stanza of that psalm means and all.

Happy Birthday twins!

K, this is like really late, but just wanna say Happy birthday twins to my favourite twins. Zhini and Zhilin. Had a really fun night yesterday waiting for them near their house and surprising them with all the other churchies. haha, and jermyn and BK were there too. while waiting for them to return from their journey around tanah merah, we were like playing cards in the park, and making like a lot of noise. haha. Then, they were so surprised when they saw us la. haha. Then, zhini told us that she was so touched that she almost cried. Jermyn was like " i lend you my shoulders " WAD... seriously.

And on to today! This morning.. took a cab to airport cause i missed the bus. Then, in the morning on the way to econs tutorial, me and casey were like walking really slowly to class becoz of something in front of us. haha, the thing keep slowing down, then we have to slow down even more. haha.
And today i went and paid attention for every lecture. but towards the end of physics i fell asleep! like really asleep, was dreaming and all. Then, during chinese i was playing with lego, like dismantling the lego pieces. then, after chinese we had an inter-class lego building competition and i won with a robot. WOOT!

Ahh, gotta go do my WR and chat with my classmates on totally nonsensical stuff. BYE BYE! salmonfish signing out.

Harry Potter

HAHA. today was a fun day. I got hold of a secret regarding "harry potter"(name came from dafril phua) and like discussed it with relevant people. aha, shall not divulge anything online. and i made shi kang have a new name today. Its called " shi kang the betrayal". its kinda obvious why. :):):)

just reached home, and i got like tons of things to do on my list. lets see.

Typical day.

Today's monday! finally going to school after like 5 days. wake up so early, not used to it. haha.
Wrote a song yesterday night. its called " psalms 119. beth. " mainly coz its inspired from psalms 119 and under the beth section. ya. and the thing is that i really didnt notice that beth was anything significant, until this morning. was just kinda wondering why god inspired me to write this song.

anyway, i decided to play world of warcraft(wow), again. yes, like the 3rd or 4th time i am saying this to myself. but, at least now, i can control myself la. not like last year after o levels. really burned my life away. then, i spent the last 1 hour doing my pw stuff. my head is still spinning from all the data. gotta go get some rest now. Sundays

Its another typical Sunday, went to church, learn new stuff bout God's word and his awesomeness. One tat was rather interesting, was tat before Jesus died and rose again, hell was seperated into 2, one side for the righteous, and the other for the wicked. During the 3 days that Jesus was in the grave, he was preaching to the dead. then, he took all the righteous, including abraham and moses into heaven with him. And that's why the ressurection has power over death. Jesus went down into hell and took back what belonged to God. That's my cool messiah. Now, he has made a way for us to be with him when we leave this earth. Cool huh?

Spent the afternoon "studying" with Le Dung and Benjamin Chow. Dung was like asking both of us to do his AQ for Gp. and we were like "no, do it yourself." like alot of times. haha. then end up esther helped him do his summary. wad only.. Now i am back home, waiting for the time to fly by, till its time to do the most impt thing i am going to do in my life up till now. pray that God will give me the wisdom, the peace to help me through. :)

And tomorrow school starts again. i have only edited 2 paragraphs for my WR.. gonna chiong home tomorrow, and do nothing but WR!!! argh. Till tomorrow. Salmon.

My views on Marriage

Woohoo, was at east coast park from like 4 to 9 plus with my net peeps.
Never thought captain's ball would be so tiring and violent! my gosh, yisi was like tackling me to the ground for the ball pls. The girls use unfair means of getting the ball. :( we cant touch them, but they can push us like free and tackle us. not fair. oh well.
Then, the girls started playing the "old eagle catch small chicken"(translate to chinese) game, then want us to play. Haha, all the guys just sat down can. haha.
Oh, then later when we were going to get our dinner, pamella reminded me its been a year and a day since the really eventful national day last year. where there was suspense, horror and drama coincidentally at east coast park too. haha. Time flies. Before i know it, A levels will be around the corner, then NS where i will be patriotically serving the nation.
Today's net lesson was interesting, yisi started off by asking everyone " what do you see yourself doing in ten years? " some ppl were just fantazising, while some of us were realistic and levelheaded. haha. In ten years, (minus 1 year a levels, 2 years ns, 4 years of degree) i wanna be having a stable and wellpaying, but not necessarily too much, job. propose to my girlfriend, get married, find a house. etc.etc. but, call me traditional, i believe that marriage requires devotion, commitment, and sacrifice. if you are going to be a selfcentred party in a marriage, it will break down. Marriage is not about wad you can benefit from it, but its about wad you can give. seriously, i am sure most of us( at least ) will want your spouse to be the perfect, sadly they wont be, but are you willing to be tolerant to their weaknesses and flaw? accomodation leads to a great relationship. Just a shout out for people to think not twice, not thrice, but many many times about marriage. Its for a lifetime, sure you dun wanna regret it 20 or 30 years down the road. k, enough ranting and philosophy lessons.

To christians out there, do not be complacent, but be on your toes daily, giving thanks to the Lord. For we do not want to miss the Lord's coming.

Since i am online, and i dun feel like doing any studying. thought i should just drop by and post abit. and maybe like put up some photos. yea.
This morning was quite funny, my mother came into my room at around 8am and was whispering to me.
Mum:" you wanna go eat breakfast at Ikea?"
Me: " Why are you whispering?"
Mum:" your sisters are still sleeping. i think we eat finish and come back, they still sleeping. "

and we were off, with our rare mum and son bonding session. we went there ate, and i read my book for like 30 minutes and she was reading hers. then we came back. haha.

National Day. wad happened?

Hey sup peeps, just over 15 minutes ago was National day. The day when our small and tiny little island became independent lalala. (Insert propaganda here.) Anyway, didnt do anything patriotic today. Was out from 11 plus, went to the airport to study with Andrew choo and jermyn who came at one becoz he missed 2 buses due to his obession with pokemon on his handphone. Cant say we did much productive work there, most of the time was spent talking and playing psp and stuff. ya.. Then, headed down to katong in the evening to play dota with them. And we were really high and crazy, screaming like maniacs. ahh.. by the time we finished at 8.30, didnt even noe whether still got fireworks not. Wad lousy Singaporeans we are, if there was a grade for national loyalty, i'll probably get a U.
Thats my sad little day. But i am sure tomorrow will be better! going to east coast park with my churchies. yea!
I miss my best friend! sigh. now everytime see her also so tired, i miss her old self.
I am gonna remind myself on this blog to continually pray for her! :)

Letter of Explanation

Hey, sup you busybodies.

Am dedicating this first entry to Dafril Phua who inspired me to blog. ( yet again. )
Always wondered why people will wanna put up their life on the internet for everyone to see. guess i'll soon find out. :)

Salmon is a pretty cool name. Was me nickname in dota, then recently i stumbled across a verse in the Bible in Ruth 4:21 " Salmon was the father of Boaz." I was like "wow" i never knew such a name existed till then. it was a great revelation. yup. Maybe his father was like eating a salmon when he was born, " i shall name my child, Salmon" What great thinkers people were back then. Now, we have to give our child complicated names to have them humiliated in school and in society. Not going to name any, in case i offend people. haha.
Oh ya, i totally pon national day celebrations today, wad a rebel i am. :) and my ct messaged me. :( he was asking me if i am sick, and being the honest dude i am, i told him " no i am not, i just slept late yesterday." haha, then i have to get my parents to write a letter of explanation for my absence in school. Ridiculous man. wad are they supposed to write?

hope that satisfies them. Honestly, i am not going to give my teacher anything. What's the point? he'll prolly forget bout it next week anyway.

studied the first 7 chapters of maths( excluding trigo ) and played dota. while playing dota, pamella called me and we talked bout really really weird stuff which i vaguely remember, like how her birthday present, a white bag, had blue stains on it. Her really cool dad took a correction tape and removed those hedious stains. ingenious. and her class bought her a fly-swatter, ya. the weird gifts i hear people get these days never cease to amaze me. Then, she's supposed to carry that thing around and whack people who say the f word. haha, if i had that in my class, my wrist would hurt really bad.
Other than that, life today was pretty boringly smooth.
